This is for my granddaughter's wedding and I have found out that it is not at all easy. I did it the piece by piece way, not the strip method. I am glad I have tho, I think it will be more original that way. I am sorta new to quilting, like in 2009, or 10, but have sewn all my life. These curves are not easy at all. Thanks for looking. Colorful Jacob's ladder quilt blocks

I had a duplicate post on my double wedding ring quilt that I hand bound, so I posted this work in progress- I've had this UFO for a while now. Jacob's ladder is my favorite pattern. I need to make more blocks. This is beautiful digitally printed fabric and batiks that I had left over from a Hunter's Star quilt that I made for my friend in Tennessee. The Hunter's Star quilt was posted years ago.

Blue and White Quilt

I made this for my cousin's mum. She loves the classic blues and whites. She uses this as a table cover, but could have other uses as it of a generous size. First Quilt

Finally found time to learn the art of quilt top making. Attended a local "Quilt" shop for classes and made a beautiful "Log Cabin" pattern quilt top. That's all it took - I'm hooked. Have since completed 2 more and working on another. Leave the Finish Quilting to a wonderful "Long-arm Quilter" I have met. That is an art I leave to the "expert", she's great.

I made this quilt for my favorite cousin David. We are very close in age and have always been good friends...no special occasion for the quilt..its a "just because" quilt. I used Moda Grudge ...it may be my all time favorite fabric. I FMQ'd it with a very large swirl and loop pattern.

Kewpie Love for Marie Rose

In March 2017, visited the Original Sewing & Quilt Expo in Lakeland, FL. At the Missouri Star booth I came across this darling Kewpie Doll fabric, and the Kewpie Doll itself. Kewpie is a piece of my 1950’s past, so naturally I couldn’t pass it up. This project sat in my stash waiting for the absolute right recipient. It's the perfect baby quilt for the most recent addition to our family, Marie Rose. I used Missouri Star's Flying Geese Log Cabin pattern and quilted it with the April Rose pantograph design.

Garden Stroll

Update: I finished hand binding this quilt. My friend (Patti Hutchins) free motion quilted daisies on this quilt on her long arm. I just finished piecing this Garden Stroll quilt top from American Patchwork and Quilting June 2013. I fell in love with this pattern when I saw it online. I used fabrics in teal, turquoise, aqua, and burgundy through light pink. I added two additional borders to make it queen size. This quilt is for my mother in law. 95" square
