Night Sky

Our youngest granddaughter just graduated from high school so this is her quilt I made. The pattern is Night Sky and I used fabric from Missouri Star from the Sage & Sea Glass collection by Kim Diehl for Michael Glass. Her favorite color is green and she loved this pattern. It was pretty difficult for me since it is all half square triangles. Too bad I didn't have the triangle square-up ruler when I did this. lol My husband says this is the prettiest quilt I have done. The support group were so helpful in helping me increase the size to king. Couldn't have done it without them. Thanks Missouri Star.

Jacob's Ladder

As each of our grandchildren graduate from high school I present them with a quilt made by me, their Nana. Our oldest grandson is Jacob so thought this quilt was appropriate for his. It was a lot of work but also very rewarding. He loves it and sleeps under it all the time. Missouri Star was so helpful in this project from watching Jenny's tutorial to purchasing fabric. After I finished the quilt I noticed a secondary pattern that looked like a baseball diamond. He went to college on a baseball scholarship, so it was doubly fitting. Thanks Missouri Star.

Christmas Table runner

I'd like to say I'm really early getting Christmas things done, but I started this one over a year ago! Ribbon pattern, quilted some free motion and some straight line with rulers. 20 x 45. This was a kit, so I don't have any fabric information. Backing is from the 12 Days of Christmas collection.

Midnight Garden

Sometimes you have to do something special for you...so I did. I love the Quatrefoil pattern. The colors are the inspiration for the guest room remodel. In doing a slight modification a secondary flower appeared, what a pleasant surprise.

Fall Harvest

Airplane Baby Quilt

My S-I-L wanted me to make a quilt for her cousins son. She chose a fabric from Spoonflower, which I found incredibly hard to work on. But it's finished and that's all that matters! Pattern is Checkerboard by Three Yard Quilts, with a few modifications. I did free motion clouds on the airplane panels on my Baby Lock Tiara, and cross hatching and stitch in the ditch on my Janome. Measures 39" x 49"
