I once saw a watercolor bargello in a magazine a long time ago. I have always wanted to do one. I have proven to myself that I'm no good at picking out fabrics for a watercolor version but with red black and white it worked.

Cobblestone quilt

This pattern is from the book Scrappy Firework Quilts by Edyta Sitar. I loved the pattern and the colors in the original pattern. I had some similar fabric in a jelly roll that I thought would work perfectly. I gave this as a Christmas present to my parents.

ispy - Take 3

This was the third i-spy in my series. In this case I didn't add any additional lattice pieces, but alternated the tumbler block with a solid color. My favorite part of this one was the wavy edge that I left from the tumbler shapes. Bias binding was very easy to use and gave this quilt that little extra effect needed.

Bear Claw "expanded"

I absolutely love to watch MSQC tutorials! This week (while snowed in) I watched Jenny's BEAR CLAW tutorial. I really liked it and decided to expand it into a table topper. When I bought our recent sunroom cushions, I bought extra (all on sale of course) so took one of the extras and cut it into strips for the border! I really like how the topper tuner out! Thanks, Jenny ~ for all of the great ideas.
