I solved the problems that I encountered with The Troublemaker quilt. It’s amazing how different fabric changes the look of a quilt! I am excited to report that I got the knack of quilting feathers!! Woo Hoo!! My favorite local quilt shop closed several years ago. I purchased a vendor’s sample charm pack from her which had about 15 squares. I loved the bicycle designs, but I couldn’t find any of the fabric online. Unfortunately, I don’t know who designed it. I supplemented with a mixture of scrap fabric from eight other quilts that I have made. I have a backlog of quilts that I want to make for babies who are now toddlers. This will be given to one of them.

At my last retreat, a friend was going to throw out these leftover rectangle scraps. So I scooped them up, cut up a charm pack and put this quilt together. Because of the limited number of rectangles, it became a baby quilt, 32 x 35. Still practicing my free motion quilting!

Decided to make another quilt for my great niece...just love this fabric.

Wyoming friends are expecting their first child and this fabric showing moose, pine trees, etc., seemed appropriate for them.

This baby quilt measures 48 x 48. Alternated modified 9-patch and Sawtooth stars. Loving doing my own fmq as it means I can gift more baby quilts.

Y'all are probably tired of my Aqua colorway. Truth be told, I'm getting close to the end of that fabric color binge. LOL. This one measures at 48 x 48.

Just building up my "stash" of baby quilts. This one finished up at 42 x 42. It is my mission that all new babies get a quilt for tummy time. I have belonged to an on-line group of women for 20+ years (back in the infancy of the internet). While the group of ladies is 'aging out' we have several babies born to women in the group each year. Making the aqua quilts keeps it more or less gender neutral and as a new mom, I always enjoyed baby gifts. So my mission is to supply baby quilts whether it is your 1st or or your 8th. My favorite go-to project when I have just enough left over fabric. This cuddly flannel will keep a future baby boy warm and allow for some cozy tummy time.

Just finished this up today. I used the MSQC O's block pattern. It finished at 48 x 48.

My new go-to for baby quilts is this aqua colorway. This is my first on-point quilt with cutting setting and corner triangles. This sweet baby is due Jan. 29, 2020. This finished at 42 x 42. I was inspired by someone on quiltsbyme who did Donna Jordan's bead quilt.
