In Need of a Kiss
I made this for my Guild's "Kiss a Frog Challenge" for our September 2016 Quilt Show. Those who took on the challenge were given 3 "ugly" fabrics to make into something beautiful. We were allowed to add up to 3 other fabrics, and the finished quilt could measure no more than 24 inches square. I took the challenge literally and went with the Frog Prince theme, using the blue print for the flower pot and half the petals, the red for flower petals, and the yellow for the flower center and the frog's crown. I added a brown on brown print for the dirt, green for the frog and flower stem and leaf, and a white on white for the background.
