Crossroads of Freedom

Bordered Perwinkle

Uncle duckling to swan contest at Floyd and Lizzie fabric store. I was given 4 one yard cuts to make how ever as long as I used 80% of the fabric. Could add as much fabric as I wante to go with. Was really fun to do.

Jelly Roll Race and Jelly Roll Race 2 Quilt tops

After watching Jenny's tutorials several times. I tried out Jelly Roll Race quilts for my tall nephews. I could not find jelly rolls with fabrics I wanted to use for the boys so I bought yardages and cut them into strips and mix them up. The quilt tops are at the quilters getting quilted as I don't feel my quilting is ready for gift giving yet.

Abigail's Tea Party and friends.

A couple we know well their son and daughter in law had a baby named Abigail and we made a baby quilt in the theme of the Teddy Bear Party. We used Jenny's tutorial with the binding with the little edge popping out. It was fun to do the binding.

Quarter and Dine

This quilt was made with 10" and 5" precut squares of the same fabrics. By mixing the fabric and the cutting and putting the square back together created a unique design. The border was one of the fabric from the blocks, with a large stripe which created a frame around the quilt.
