My son loves this quilt, it was a surprise when I gave it to him. He did not know that I still had his shirts. I was happy when I came across the Star Wars fabric for the back and borders.

    I love batiks and found a celestial batik fabric that I especially liked. I started the quilt top (using an Ocean Waves quilt block pattern) with the intention of giving it to my husband who loved gazing at the night skies with his telescope. We got divorced before I finished it. I recently finished it and had it quilted with a stars and swirls quilting design. Love how it turned out. It's mine now-too bad x-hubby!
