By cfraley 10 LIKES | 1863 VIEWS Jelly Roll Braid After being asked by a friend if I knew how to make a braid quilt, I googled it and this is the result. After making one braid I had plenty of fabric left in the jelly roll so used black yardage and made it up as I went along. This is only the flimsy and will be backed with a minky blanket I have and bound with a scrappy binding made with left overs from the jelly roll. The quilt is a snuggle quilt for my daughter for when she is up at the crack of dawn feeding the baby and will finish at about 52" x 70". I think the jelly roll was from Moda and I used this tutorial for the braid http://reannalilydesigns.com/2009/06/the-batik-braid-quilt-tutorial/ By ckmurray 7 LIKES | 1155 VIEWS Geisha Wall Hanging We were in the South Pacific a lot of the time due to my fathers in the military.
