This is another one of Jenny Doan's tutorials I had to make. I had so many nine patches left over from the Irish Chain Quilt and the background pieces already cut that I used them to make this quilt. I only had to make the fence rail pieces and the borders. I still have so many nine patches and 6 1/2" background pieces already cut that I could probably make another one of these! Haven't quilted it yet. Waiting on the Westalee ruler foot and sampler templates to arrive so I can do something other than stitch in the ditch.

made of 4512 prairie points. this is a recreation from a quilt my grandmother made. or at least to the best of my memory i only saw the quilt a few times. and my mother had one very similiar to this that was stolen from a nursing home she was in for 2 weeks be fore she passed away!

Sweet Quilt for a little girl

My sister wanted a quilt for her daughter. She wanted "cupcake and circles". I found the fabric and she liked it but I just couldn't make it into circles. It ended up being squared but I added two layers of lace and ruffles like a cupcake frosting.

Little Matryoshka

Good Night Irene

I had bought a couple really nice Fat Quarter Bundles and I had no idea what to do with the fabric. I had been looking for a pattern when I got my new Block edition in the mail. There was a quilt that was called "Good night Irene". That's what my Father-in-law used to sing to my girls when they were little! PERFECT! So I used the pattern for this bundle and I love it!
