Disappearing four patch

I made this for my grandsons 8th birthday. He loves it. I got the pattern from Block Mag by Missouri Star. I think there would have been an easier pattern once I saw it coming together and after I finished it. It was still fun.

Phoebes Flower Box

My Grand daughters seventh birthday was coming up fast, I wanted to make her a quilt but was running out of time. I looked threw my Missouri Block books and decided I could get this one done in time. I am happy to say this went together very fast. Because I machine quilt all my quilts myself ( on a regular machine) this requires some additional time and I wanted it to look nice for her. Of course when we put off things to the last minute as life has a way of throwing in obstacles not to mention our daily have to's...I did have to hustle. I love the way it came out and I love the colors. My grand daughter was very happy! So don't let anything hold you back from your Quilting!
