I made this quilt for my father's 90th birthday. He was in the US Navy in WWII and remains very patriotic! He has watched the many quilts that I have made so I felt it was time to give him one. He loves it!

Mini Tumbler scrap buster

Lots and lots of mini tumblers went into the making of this quilt. I began with a charm pack and then realized I needed much more..haha..I ended up with 4 Lulu and 4 Garden Tango charms packs plus a couple solids. Once I got started it was hard to stop.

My very first hand made quilt

This quilt was hand pieced and hand quilted. It was my first attempt at quilting. I had since retired and finally had a chance to put my full attention to a quilt. The quilt has applique and shadow quilting. This quilt inspired me to take the leap and continue a hobby with which I am now obsessed.

Throwback Thursday

This is a quilt that my grandmother made back in the depression. I believe the color of the flowers are from flour sacks. I have used it on my bed for long long time.
