I saw the quartered stripes tutorial. It intrigued me so I decided to give it a go. I love the way it turned out. And I also loved the backing. I do some hand quilting but I sent this out. Allison did a wonderful job. By pemby 30 LIKES | 1277 VIEWS Princess My neice is 2 and quite a diva. I wanted to make her a quilt for Christmas with a princess theme. I found a template for a paper doll dress online, traced it and simplified it until I was confident I would be able to create it in fabric. By Marie 3 LIKES | 759 VIEWS Trucks My nephew is 4 and loves trucks. I found a few examples of simplified truck patterns online and designed several more to follow the theme. Add buttons for wheels and embroider the names and you have an adorable quilt which doubles as a learning tool!
