I made this quilt for a good friend of mine (friends since high school). She picked the quilt pattern and I helped her pick fabrics (Moda Fern Hill and Sweet Cherry Wine collections - and a few others). It has cotton fabrics on the top and cozy flannel (Northcott) on the back. She wanted it to go with colors in her home. She loves it the final result. It was quilted by a local long arm quilter. (Poppy Fields pattern)

Bee's for Tea

I wanted to do a hexagon pattern with y seams and this table cover worked in many y seams. It also became my first straight line machine quilting project. Looks great on a 36" round table with matching chair cushions. This is a 48" table.

Crissy’s baby

My best friend is having her first baby and I had to have the perfect design and fabric so when I found it in a sample sent to me I ordered it right away. The pattern is baby kisses from the Missouri star quilt company tutorials, and then I tried my hand at free motion quilting the whole thing. This is the third quilt I have done it with and I’m so pleased with how it turned out. I’ve only been sewing a few years and I’m so glad I can make something that I can actually give to someone! It was about a months to complete with 18 month and 3 year old under foot and another one coming soon but so worth the effort

Harry the Hedgehog

I make a lot of baby quilts as my daughters are of the age when all their friends are married and having babies. This one had to be gender neutral as the parents want to be surprised. BLUE HEAVEN

I made this "RAIL FENCE STAR" quilt our elderly neighbors. She made a comment to me that the quilts she had didn't fit her bed so she threw them out. They will be marrie 69 years this month, November 2017. I was able to get out of her what their favorite colors were which happens they both love blue. I added a bit of purple becaue she liked that also, but I did not put any floral fabric in it so it was masculine for him. I surprised them with it one afternoon and they were so taken aback and appreciative. Needless to say they loved it.
