Made this quilt for my friend's 60th birthday. It was made from 6 fat quarters (one for each decade) and each color/fabric represents something special in her life. I was afraid the colors might be a bit much but she loves it.

Craftsy Secret Garden Quilt

This is a disappearing 9 patch that I made from a layer cake kit using Amy Butler fabric. I adore Amy Butler's designs and was lucky enough to find some remnants of the same fabric line while visiting Hancock's of Paducah after a quilting show. I barely had enough remnants to piece together a backing but I love the backing as much as I do the front.

2013 Craftsy Block of the Month quilt

This quilt was a nightmare to put together because I really hated the class. The instructions weren't the best but the class was free and I was determined to finish it. I also didn't like the layout the instructor had given us for putting the completed blocks together so I kind of improvised. I was happy with how it finally turned out but this will always be my 'quilt from h*ll'. :)
