Just an appliqué quilt I enjoyed making. Pattern is called In Remembrance by Nancy Rink. Machine appliqué, not yet quilted

I wanted to make a quick lap size quilt to keep out all year. This took eight weeks and it is just the right size.

Adapted from a Planted Seeds pattern. I added two baskets, changed the sashing, and added the border and embroidery…lots of little critters which are hard to see in the picture.

This is a mix of patterns I’ve had. Thought the black would make the squares pop!

I made this in March of 2020, right at the beginning of the pandemic. Since I couldn’t get to a fabric store it was made from fabric I had on hand. Yellow always signifies hope for me and the border has yellow reaching out to the world. Pattern by Esther Aliu.

I saw this quilt on Pinterest and it looked easy to do, so I copied it. I just drew out the flowers and I loved that they are all made in different polka dots. Fun quilt to make and fun to look at!
