Made this awhile ago - this was a nap quilt for my son showing all the things he was interested in when he was 4 years old. It was a way to practice machine applique and try out hand quilting as well.

Pioneer Braid

This was a great way to use up a lot of my scraps! I made the rows longer and added more rows to make it wider as well. I use it as a bed spread on our queen size bed as a result of its larger size. This quilt is one of my favorites because my husband's aunt hand quilted it for us.

Raffle Quilt

My grandmother left behind a lot of 'unfinished' projects - so we put this simple quilt together as a fund raiser quilt. The winner of the quilt gave it to me in memory of my grandmother - which I thought was such a nice gesture.

Maple Leaves

I love fall colors - I used all my autumn theme fabrics to create these large maple leaf blocks. Some of the hand quilting is meant to convey 'falling leaves'.
