Anniversary Waltz
A $5 BOM quilt from my LQS. The center square in a square was my choice, the other fabrics in the block were provided by the store. I also had to provide the corner setting blocks, sashing and border. Crazy fabrics, huh? I would have never thought of putting all these black, brown, silvers together. Somehow it works though.
I really enjoyed being with other quilters and seeing their blocks each month. The pattern was intended to be used with Marti Michell's templates but I didn't want to spend the cash for templates I wasn't sure I'd use again. Luckily the instructor felt the same way and provided a conversion sheet of the templates.
