I made this quit for my granddaughter's 18th birthday. She suffers from periodic depression and I wanted something that she could wrap up in when she's feeling down that would give her comfort and security. I used bright, happy colors and quilted it in the Angel Wings pantograph which adds to it's purpose. I got the pattern from Jenny Doan's magazine, but when I began putting the blocks together, I thought it was too busy so I started rearranging them and this is what I came up with. My granddaugher tells me all the time how much she enjoys this quilt.
