This was a project that I did by the seat of my pants. I was working full time at an apple orchard, and came home too tired to do any project that required thinking. So, I made 4-patchs with no aim in mind. Next I decided to use them in 9-patches with a plain fabric in the center, and the 4-patches on the corner. And it grew again, when I wanted to add another plain square of fabric to the corners...it grew to be approx 90 inches square. I quilted it on my Juki 98Q in 2010...
