Morris Island Lighthouse Quilt
This is my own design. My daughter-in-law requested a lighthouse, but my son wanted Palmetto trees.This is the compromise. The trees are Robert Kaufman Artisan Batiks. The stars in the sashing are from the same fabric. This was my first time using applique. This very special quilt was a gift for my 6th grandchild born in March 2017.
