Made this flannel quilt for my brother-in-law Gary, who has metatastic liver cancer. It was the first large quilt I quilted using my embroidery machine & Im proud of how it turned out.

Out of this world!

This is for a family member having her first baby. I saw the embroidery designs and immediately knew this was the one I wanted to make make for her. I just let my imagination go with the colors & had fun! Each of the spaceships has accents done in glow-in-yhe dark thread & the quilting on the front is, too. I wanted to make the back special as well, so I added the baby's name and a row of some of the fabrics used for the spaceships.

49er's Quilt for Darlene

My friend Darlene has always loved the San Francisco 49er's and wanted this for her bedroom. We worked together on trying to get the most for her dollar, and while I was thinking this over, I received my issue of Block magazine. I fell in love at My first glance of the Big Star Quilt, and she lived it too!
