PV's projects Category Style Type Modern Applique Holiday Lap / Throw 10" Square Dot to dot This quilt was made for wonderful friends who go way back in our lives. Their modern home has a unique color scheme. When we were traveling in Reno I came across a great quilt shop and found all of these fabrics that look like they belong in our friends' home. I carted about 5 yards of fabric all the way back to Texas. I actually made the quilt top twice because I didn’t like the first one. I’m very pleased with how this one turned out. It was pieced, appliquéd and quilted on my domestic sewing machine. By PV 27 LIKES | 1064 VIEWS Life can be Bold This bright, intense, beautiful fabric totally captured my heart. I had purchased a lot of it before I had any plan for how to use it. It became the perfect material for a quilt for my very bold friend. Some people send flowers to comfort a friend. Others send over a meal, or bake a cake. Quilters make a quilt. I hope she will be cozy and comforted under this quilt made with love. I made this using the Freestyle Churn Dash tutorial By PV 19 LIKES | 1382 VIEWS Olaf, at Grandson's request My grandson wanted a Frozen quilt before the fabrics were available everywhere. In addition, he wanted to "help". We designed Olaf together. He appliqués the snowflakes on the back. By PV 14 LIKES | 1366 VIEWS
