Very Hungry Caterpillar Quilt

This is a quilt I made for my granddaughter who turns one in May. The center is a panel from the Very Hungry Caterpillar by Eric Carle for Andover Fabrics and the piecing and backing are from the same line. I found the pattern online from an old issue of Fons and Porter Love of Quilting from May/June 2008. Since it is a birthday present I wanted the quilting to be special so I sent it to MSQC and had it done in the flutterby pattern with little butterflies scattered all over.

Attic Window Lap Throw

I made this for my son who likes to go deer hunting. I used Jenny's tutorial for the attic window. I should have paid more attention before I started cutting and made the window panes longer but lesson learned. I liked the way it turned out otherwise. I used the same fabric recommended in the tutorial from MSQC. The backing is a dark brown that I picked up locally. The quilting is also in the window pane pattern. Hope he likes it.
