I won this fat quarter bundle from a gal's blog and knew it would be perfect to make a quilt for my grandma. She was a purple gal and these fabrics are gorgeous! I gave it to her for Christmas 2014, but then she passed suddenly in February 2015. She was at least able to enjoy it for a little while. The quilt has since been given to my great aunt (grandma's sister) and I know it meant a lot to her. Hopefully it will wrap her in comfort when she's feeling blue.
