She passed away and I inherited some of her UFOs. She had started this quilt with dolls. I loved it - had to finish it - enlisted Winnie for cross stitch, LaVerne for clothes and Sarah for assistance with graphics. Traveled to Selma for the 50th Anniversary March and worked on my quilt. Loved it so much sent it to Durham, NC to hang in the quilt show with the African American Quilt Circle of Durham ( I am a distance member of the Quilt Circle) Quilt represents me and all others who have and are taking the life journey. T-shirts represent four groups I am associated with. Quilt was machine pieced, hand and machine quilted, hand and machine applique & dressing, By Strawberry 11 LIKES | 1270 VIEWS Sarah's Story This is one of the first quilts I made and it tells the geneology of my daughter through pictures and a 9 block square By Strawberry 10 LIKES | 1372 VIEWS
