adhoss2003's likes Home for Harvest Started this quilt over a year ago and have finally finished it. Quilted on my own home machine. It's not perfect by far. The back is solid brown and I can see a few tension issues on the back but it was not enough for me to want to take out and redo. The quilt is mine so it won't be leaving the house and I can live with the mistakes. No specific pattern was used. I loved the quilts Jenny shared at the end of the tutorial and thought the smaller star version would work well with the Island Batik charm packs I had purchased from MSQC. My neighbor and friend walks 5 to 6 miles with me 3 times a week no matter what the weather. I'm going to give it to her just because I'm so grateful to have her friendship. She is a beautiful four years old and full of life. Her nursery was full of butterflies and flowers. Her mother and I are a fan of those. I bought the fabric 8 years ago but couldn't decide what to do with it. One jelly roll and backing fabric. Finally I found the Missouri Star Quilt tutorials! I love how it turned out. Hopefully, she will too. By DebbieMaher 21 LIKES | 1175 VIEWS My first quilt This was my grand daughters first quilt at age five, that she made!! Didn't she do a fantastic job? The pattern includes instructions for 6 sizes from baby to king. The quilt can be made with jelly rolls which uses traditional piecing (and it's still quick!) and yardage for strip piecing (and this is even quicker)! I love this pattern so much that I made four of them within a week! Purchase the pattern here: http://go-2.it/BusyHandsPatterns This quilt is for sale in my quilt shop: https://www.etsy.com/shop/BusyHandsQuilts By BusyHandsQuilts 8 LIKES | 948 VIEWS The Quatrefoil pattern Jenny made this quilt in a tutorial on youtube.
