Losing the Trail
This quilt was adapted from the pattern Trail Marker by Ashley Newcomb found in Quilty Magazine. I wanted it larger so I made additonal rows and spaced some out with sashing. It was the first time I have sewn with triangles and made my own plastic template. This quilt is just for me. I loved picking out all of the scrappy fabrics from my stash for this one. It is backed mostly in Essex Yarn Dyed Linen with some orphan blocks.
