ORIGAMI FABRIC WREATH - A Great Scrapbuster!
I am always looking for ideas for Christmas Gifts. I found this video for a no sew craft. https://youtu.be/2otDYbHYnD4
I was inspired until I tried to buy wreath's on line, They were all sold out. After Christmas, looking for bargains I found the Styrofoam wreaths. I bought 6 large and 6 small wreaths to put away for a future project. My sister is going through Chemo and I have been visiting once a week. We were watching movies until I found out Crafts are a great way for her to keep her mind active and being creative really helps keep the blues away. It was our third week of crafting when I suggested that we make these wreath. She loved it. She wasn't able to finish hers, but I bet she has it done for my next visit. She made a Patriotic Wreath. I'll post pictures next week. If you want to bust your scrap bin, this is the project. 2 1/2 inch squares ironed. This took 160 squares 320 pins and your favorite fabric scraps. about a 4 hour project, {if you do not iron watching TV. } This was fun, fun, and more fun. Think of the possibilities, Valentines Day, 4th of July, Memorial Day, etc,. . . . UPDATE: My sister did finish her wreath - Pictures attached! Thanks for all of your good wishes and prayers. She had a good week.
