Memory Quilt
August of this year a committee at our church decided to have a special celebration for our Pastor and his wife. They had served in four church's for over 25 years. We had a huge dinner and theme was Mexican. Their favorite food . A quilt of memories was to be created , that fell to me . I ordered things from Missouri Star and used parts from the following materials. Island strips (Spring Zing Batiks) Van Gogh Strips, Stonehenge Gradations Strips made up the art work. The memory squares sized down from the 5 inch size were from Kona Cotton Bright Palette, Tropicana by RJR, Moda Bella solids. The back side is Green Bay Packer material as Pastor loves that team . It is framed in dark purple flannel and used my embroidery machine to personalize the item. It is a wall hanging.
