Row by Row 2017 - On the Go
I gathered the materials (half were just patterns, half were kits from the participating shops), and got to work. I used a consistent fabric for the sky and grass at the top of the quilt to create more unified whole.
There were several applique rows, one paper pieced row, and the row with the sea turtles had yo-yos for the shells.
The arrangement I used ended up with a 62x62 throw. I quilted it on a longarm machine, doing free motion quilting. With the poly batting, this is a quilt that can be used anywhere.
