I made this Big Star for my daughter's wedding. She picked the fabrics for the stars. It was not difficult and makes a big statement. I used 7" squares cut from yardage to make the stars and followed Jenny's tutorial. I had it quilted by a LQS.

Sunny skies A MSQC pattern

This is a MSQC pattern called Sunny skies. It was fun to make and not hard. Bought the fabric here in Sweden and managed to ran out on the orange fabric. It where no were to buy it here. So I ended up contacting the designer, Mary Koval in the USA and she sold me the fabric I needed to complet the quilt. So this one is rather special to me.

Wedding Quilt for friends

i have a dear friend who's daughter will marry in August. They are lovers of nature so I thought a Bear Paw quilt was appropriate. I googled "Images" online and found this design. It is an easy layout to copy. I used scraps and stash in the colors the bride and groom are using in their home based on an image of a rug that is in their house. The bride's mom said the colors in the rug are carried throughout their home. This quilt is probably about twin-size. The Bear Paw block measures 10" finished.

Giant Dahlia

In fall 2014, I was fortunate enough to take a Giant Dahlia class from Suzzy Payne, a well known quilting teacher in my area. The petals of the dahlia are made from just two ombre fabrics and are fussy cut along the lengthwise grain. I machine quilted the dahlia in a radiant pattern using various colors of thread.
