Hexagons and Stars

This was made using 1.5" strips and cut with a 60 degree ruler at 4.5". When it was finished, I noticed the star pattern that developed around the hexagons and I thought it was "cool". Hope a child likes it!

Louise's Scraps 3

Using up scraps given to me by a lovely lady, Louise, the colorful scrap quilt was made with 1.5" strips, 2.5" squares and 4.5" squares. Hope Louise and a child like it!

Louise's Bag of Scraps2

A giving person named Louise gave me several bags of scraps. I made a pineapple mini with 6" blocks and sent her a picture. She liked the pineapple idea but was unhappy that she couldn't see her scraps so I decided to make this regular pineapple quilt with 10" blocks. Hope she is happy with it and that a child likes it as well.

These blocks are 2.5" wide and made from 1.5" strips. Hope it helps a child through a difficult time.

Rings

This quilt is a combination of two quilt ideas from the book No Scrap Left Behind by Amanda Jean Nyberg. The fabric was provided by a local company and uses 1.5" strips. Hope a child likes it!

This quilt started out to be something completely different. As I placed the blocks on the design wall, this is what I came up with using 1.5" strips. Hope a child likes it!

I am still using scrap 1.5" strips and squares. I saw a quilt with a similar design and thought I could change it to fit my needs. I hope a child likes it.

Scrappy Pineapple Quilt

These blocks were made with scrap strips 1 1/2" wide with 2 1/2" corners. I just can't seem to put scraps this size in the bag I give to the wonderful lady who makes pet beds out of scraps. I decided to use as many as I could and this is the result. It was made with the pineapple mini tool.
