Orange and Brown fan blades quilt

This was a class I took a long time ago in a (now) defunct store. The teacher refused to give us handouts or let us write anything down bc "we would steal her intellectual property" So... I didn't remember how to finish this quilt. I let this languish for YEARS. I finally decided to take the squares I had cut out for the class and make a tiled border. I was just tired of having this unfinished project on my plate when I knew it would be well loved at my friend's house. (he loves oranges and browns and golds) So I made up the rest and called it done. I think it turned out beautiful and my friend likes it alot.

Welcome Spring

From the Moda Bake Shop patterns, this is Welcome Spring, altho I turned it on its head a little. Made as a wedding present for my cousin. I made the strips grow out from two different edges instead of just one side.
