  Summer in the Park

  I found Jenny's tutorials when I was homeless last year and they gave me such inspiration! This design was one I loved and when I found the fabric I knew it was the one. It was also the first quilt I made when I had a home again, though it took me a few months to finish it off. I came across the fabric in a little upstairs shop and it had been put behind for another customer. THe owner told me that if it hadn't been collected by the following Monday I could have it. So come Monday morning I flew back down and luckily for me it was still there! I was now the proud owner of my very first jellyroll - the Cattails and Clover range by Kansas Trouble who I absolutely adore

  New bedroom

  We redid our bedroom. I had made 2 other queen sized quilts that no longer complemented the room. I had decided never to make another queen size quilt. But,I saw this collection from Ambleside and decided I would do it. It was long arm quilted at Bayberry quilt shop in Chicopee Massachusetts. The appliqué design is my own. The binding has a small light blue flange. Not quilt show worthy, but it is a utility quilt, and I'm very pleased.
