A Quilt for Rita

A good friend living far from me was pregnant with her 8th child so I felt the new baby needed a special quilt. Fortunately Jenny had done a tutorial on the Big Star quilt and I really wanted to try making it. It is also perfect for a sweet Texas baby. I used flannel for the pattern and the backing and satin blanket binding to finish it. I also made a matching set of baby receiving blanket. I have been enjoy getting pictures of Baby Rita on her baby quilt.
