Blurred Lines

My husband wanted me to make him a quilt. He's rather tall, so I had to measure to make sure I got it long enough! He especially uses it while reclining on these cold winter days. The first one I made him was not quite long enough, so I specifically looked for botanical print fabric (purchased from Hancock's of Paducah) since he is a botanist/scientist. I wanted it to be special, just for him. He's a plant guy. It was hard to keep it from him while working on it, but it was worth it, once it was quilted in a lovely leaf pattern, it was strikingly beautiful. I saw the pattern on youtube at a quilting workshop. So I just had to make my own sizes, but followed the basic design, and chose to do large blocks of complementary fabrics on the back.
