Transitions Quilt

With the left over fabric from Jacobs Ladder, the green fabrics seemed to be very suited for this shadow box look, called transitions. It also seemed like the time to make my nephew a bed quilt. He had been looking after our mother and he wanted a quilt from his "aunt Julie" as I recall. It was fun seeing it come together with those contrasting squares, even if they were all the same. Jenny helped out with those "sewing two squares together" short cuts. I was learning to sew patterns together from Jenny's videos.
