Japaneese Wall Hanging
I purchased this panel for my daughter who loves all things Japanese and used invisible thread to outline stitch it. I used fusible fleece and muslin for the backing to stitch through and it gave it great definition. It is for her guest room. She visited there two years ago on her own. It's hard to see in the picture but it almost has a 3D effect. I outlined the bird, feathers and all, the three largest flowers and the leaves. I also did the arches across the top. I did not outline the small flowers at the top and bottom. She is going to frame it before hanging it. After doing all the stitching I used black fabric on the back to hide the stitch lines.
