Hexagon Memory Quilt

My grandmother was a quilter; her goal to make each of her thirteen grandchildren a unique and complex quilt. She passed away before my youngest sister was able to receive a quilt. When I started quilting I inherited a lot of her fabric. For my sister's college graduation I made her a quilt using my grandmother's fabric. Her school colors were white, yellow and red; the backing is patriotic since she is going into the military.
