Memories of Mom

In 2014 I was working on a quilt top for my mother and my husband came up to me and asked, "Think you can do something with these?" I replied, "Sure thing." What he showed me were some wild game bird panels he had received from his mother about twenty years earlier, and kept all this time. So, this fabric was just sitting in a box waiting to spring forth in a quilt to be kept forever. Note the cattail quilting in the white panels.
