Off to Bootcamp!

When my son decided to enter the marines, I wanted to make him something special. This would be my very first quilt. Of course, I couldn't start out small.......I had to make a queen size quilt! I chose to make a trip around the world, since I didn't know where he would end up. I asked him what colors he preferred and with the help of my friends I went to work. That quilt got me hooked on quilting and I gave up sewing garments after that. We had a going off to bootcamp for my son an his best friend as they had joined together. He was presented with it at the party and he truly cherishes that quilt. And I became addictive to collecting fabrics!
