Favorite Things

I made this quilt to welcome my new brother-in-law, his two sons, and his grandson into our family. Designed for multigenerational boys, it also has things my sister loves, too. The back has the Pickles cartoons, mad libs words, and pencils. I stipple quilted using matching thread. I used 6.5 inch squares and 2.5 inch strips for an 8 inch finished block. The quilt is 80" by 90". My sister and her new husband visited for the first time recently, so I was able to give it to them in person. They loved it!
