Peggy's Quilt #1 - Fourth of July

Peggy's Quilt #1 - Fourth of July

My first quilt! I started collecting Civil War reproduction fabric in August 2014, and finished piecing the quilt top by the middle of December 2014. The pattern is 'Fourth of July' published in the book "Charm Quilts" (1997) by Beth Donaldson. The long-arm free motion quilting was done by Lyn Durbin (Camlyn Quilts). Finished size: 93.5" long x 103" wide. It's a King size quilt on a Double bed, making for a nice drop. With some of the leftover fabric, I made a set of 4 pillow cases with nice big cuffs. Some of the other leftover fabric was used to practice paper piecing and for the top of my second quilt. I love quilting! Peggy
