Peggy's Quilt #2 - Card Trick

This is my second quilt. It's my 'practice quilt' because I was using "Quilter's Academy - Sophomore Year" by Harriet Hargrave and Carrie Hargrave, to try out piecing techniques (side set triangles, card trick blocks, etc.) using leftover Civil War reproduction fabric from my first quilt. The quilt top was machine-pieced in February and March 2015, using the Card Trick block (Class 240, page 51). For the backside of this lap quilt, I also used leftover Civil War reproduction fabric and sewed together various practice paper-pieced blocks. The finished size is 43"x57". Lyn Durbin of Camlyn Quilts did the long arm free-motion quilting. I love quilting! Peggy
