Masculine JRR V2

I had been wanting to make my wonderful step-father a lap quilt for a long time but just kept putting it off because no design and fabric combination spoke to me. Then in a last minute rush to find a unique holiday gift for 2014 I revisited the JRR projects and began experimenting with dark batiks and ended up going with the JRR V2 and it worked perfectly. I had a few snags along the way but I got it completed and shipped in time! It is his prize possession at home and he makes sure to show it to everyone.
