Summer Solstice Queen Quilt
This quilt was created as part of the Summer Solstice Quilt Along at Happy Quilting. I added the border to increase the size to a queen. The quilt is made entirely from Kona Cotton Solids. Each of the 9 blocks are made from 3 different colors in the same colorway, for a total of 27 different colors with solid black. The quilting is an allover medium meandering stitch in black thread on Mrs.Singer, my antique 31-15 which has a patent date of 1896 and could have been made as recently as 1930. She is mounted on a long-arm quilting frame. I love the rainbowy, Amish feel of the quilt. This quilt is for sale in my Etsy shop: https://www.etsy.com/shop/BusyHandsQuilts
