The Giving Tree quilt

I made this 2-sided crib quilt for my grandson before he was born. It was based on the book, The Giving Tree. The front has embroidered quotes from the book in each block. The back is a picture similar to the front of the book which was machine appliquéd. One of the best things about it was that it was longarm quilted by our pastor (now quilting in retirement), who married our daughter and son-in-law!
