Ocean Breeze

The snail trail block caught my attention awhile ago, and I finally decided to try it. I didn't have a pattern, so took out the graph paper and figured out the math. This quilt was fun from beginning to end. The blocks reminded me of waves in the ocean, so I had to do sea colors. My original goal was to just do the block, but a certain friend kept popping up in my mind. From picking out the colors, and every stitch sewn... This just had to be Paige's quilt. She is a former coworker that still keeps in contact on facebook. I've only met her in person once, but count as a friend. I sent her a picture and she is so excited, so an address exchange and it is hers. Whooot!!! My husband helped to take the full length pics and we were giggling by the end because the wind kept picking up and blowing the quilt around. We had many moments of take the pick... no... wait... ok.. nope.. now... dagnabbit... ok.. YES GOT IT!!! LOL I guess that was appropriate for a quilt of sea colors... so Ocean breeze it is... Even though we are in the high desert right now... LOL
