Cache Valley Fall

I love every change of season, but fall is one of my favorites! The colors are so intense in the little valley where I live. My friends teased me about this quilt because I included pink, purple and blue. But I couldn't leave out the burning bushes, purple asters and bright blue sky! I love how these batiks play off each other. This pattern is similar to Jenny's Half Hexie tutorial, but each hexagon is in four pieces instead of two. From Quilts and More Magazine, Fall 2014.
