Charity Auction Quilt for Camp Kesem

I've sewn all of my life but this is my first quilt! Thanks to Debbie for gifting me the Block from Missouri Star Quilt Co. and to Michelle for guiding me through the cutting and piecing process! College students across the nation spend countless hours to volunteer and fund raise to send children whose parents have or have had cancer to a summer camp....a camp with opportunity to be a kid and to reduce or escape their worries. I took inspiration from BLOCK to use the breast cancer themed "Ribbons of Hope" quilt pattern but using lavender fabric to create an "all cancer" ribbons of hope quilt for Camp Kesem. It was successful and I am so grateful.
